Policies Map

This mapping tool incorporates the Policies Map which defines the Minerals Local Plan’s proposed land-use designations and allocations (for more detail see the Minerals Local Plan).

Supporting data

Other supporting data is also included in this mapping tool to assist in the use and implementation of the Minerals Local Plan, but may not be the latest available information. Data sources include the Coal Authority, data.gov.uk, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust, Worcestershire Biological Records Centre, Worcestershire County Council.

This mapping tool shows mineral resources derived from 1:50,000 scale BGS Digital Data under Licence 2001/125.

This mapping tool also gives indicative boundaries of the current and past minerals sites with express or deemed planning permission. It is not and does not purport to be an official record of all minerals sites in the county. In particular, it does not replace the information held on the planning register. For detailed information about individual sites and site boundaries relevant planning permissions should be referred to.

Supporting data will be updated as far as possible alongside publication of the Minerals and Waste Local Development Framework Authority Monitoring Report. This mapping tool is therefore not a complete database of all information held. Do not rely on information from this site as an alternative to traditional land searches or obtaining copies of the most up to date data direct from source organisations.

While the County Council takes care to ensure that the information provided within this tool is accurate, the Council shall not be held responsible for the content or absence of any information on the website or any inability, for whatever reason, to view information on the website.
